Feb. TAG Exhibit: Angevine Middle School

Angevine Middle School presents: Every child is an artist!
As Pablo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Angevine’s 6th, 7th and 8th grade art students will be showing how they are keeping the “child artist” inside them as they grow toward adulthood. In their “Abstract Tempera Paintings,” sixth graders express themselves through the playful use of line, shape, color and texture. 7th and 8th grade Ceramics students show artistic interpretations of their dream houses in an Animated House project, and get to “play” with their food in a “Road Kill Café” entree. Snake Salad, Frog Pizza, and Crocodile a la King…what road kill would you serve?

Opening Reception: February 7, 2010, 3-5 pm
Refreshments will be provided.
Phone: Children's & Teen Library at 303-441-3009
Cost: Free
