TEEN ART GALLERY
CURRENT EXHIBIT:
February TAG: Angevine Middle School presents:
Every child is an artist!
As Pablo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Angevine’s 6th, 7th and 8th grade art students will be showing how they are keeping the “child artist” inside them as they grow toward adulthood. In their “Abstract Tempera Paintings,” sixth graders express themselves through the playful use of line, shape, color and texture. 7th and 8th grade Ceramics students show artistic interpretations of their dream houses in an Animated House project, and get to “play” with their food in a “Road Kill Café” entree. Snake Salad, Frog Pizza, and Crocodile a la King…what road kill would you serve?
- Opening Reception: February 7, 2010, 3-5 pm

your art. your gallery.
The Teen Art Gallery at the Boulder Public Library features rotating exhibits in a space exclusively for art work created by middle and high school artists. We show a range of work including painting, photography, graffiti, sculpture, collage, found objects, writing and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity to show work in a public venue, gain experience with art exhibitions, and get exposure for your school or community group. You can also submit on your own or with a group of friends. Get shown and boost your college applications and resumes.
